Power and Control Wheel and Equality Wheel
Back in the 1980s, the Domestic Abuse Intervention Project in Duluth, Minnesota designed two wheel graphics; one showing the characteristics of abusive relationships (Power and Control Wheel) and the other showing characteristics of non-abusive relationships (Equality Wheel).
These wheels have been widely used in the field of Violence Against Women (VAW) work. To view the Power and Control Wheel, click here. To view the Equality Wheel, click here.
